About me

šŸ”„ 10-year Certified Chinese Tutor | Military Background Ɨ Multilingual

Hello! I'm Ashley, a Chinese language teacher. I hold a master's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. Additionally, I used to be a soldier in the Chinese military, and now I work at an international school in Beijing. I am a multilingual learnerā€”I can communicate fluently in both Chinese and English. Besides these, I also speak Mongolian, Manchu, and have basic knowledge of Russian and Korean. Recently, Iā€™ve been learning German and Romanian. The world of languages is vibrant and fascinating. I believe that learning a language goes beyond mastering pronunciation and grammarā€”it also requires an understanding of the culture behind the language, which helps us deepen our learning and comprehension. I donā€™t see our relationship as one of teacher and student, but rather as friends. We should learn from and grow with each other.
