About me

Maths Tutor with over 10 Years’ Experience Helping All Students Master Mathematics.

Hello! I’m Umah, a passionate and experienced Mathematics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from Benue State University and a Professional Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University. Over the years, I have developed a simple and student-centred approach to teaching Mathematics. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to your level, learning pace and personal goals. In my classes, I break down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps. We work through examples together, practise different types of questions, and focus on building both understanding and confidence. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, because there is no such thing as a “silly” question in my classroom. Whether you are looking to strengthen your foundation in Mathematics, improve your academic performance, prepare for examinations, or simply become more confident with Maths, I’m happy to help. My classes are friendly, interactive and focused on your progress. Let’s make Mathematics simpler, clearer and more enjoyable together. I look forward to meeting you!
