About me

Mathematics Tutor for GCSE, IGCSE and IB | Masters from IIT Kanpur

Hey, I am Tanya. I hold an MSc in Statistics from IIT Kanpur and a Bachelor's in Economics from Delhi University. My academic journey has taught me that mathematics is much more than a collection of formulas and procedures. At its core, it is a way of thinking, one that develops logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and confidence in tackling unfamiliar challenges. I specialize in school-level Mathematics, including GCSE, IGCSE, IB, and Indian curricula (ICSE, CBSE and state boards). Having studied mathematics extensively through economics and advanced statistics and clearing competitive exams like IIT JAM (AIR 30), I bring both theoretical understanding and practical intuition to my lessons. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, looking to strengthen your fundamentals, or simply want a deeper understanding of mathematics, I will work with you patiently and systematically to help you reach your goals. Book a trial lesson, and we can discuss your current level, the challenges you're facing, and the best path forward for your learning.
