About me

Qualified teacher with 11 years of experience. English teacher with UK curriculum.

🌟 Hello and welcome! My name is Retshepile Matlala, and I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher from South Africa with over 11 years of experience helping students of all ages grow in confidence and language skills. What makes me different? I believe learning should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. I take time to understand your goals, your learning style, and what motivates you. My classes are student-centred, meaning you’ll be speaking, thinking, and improving in every session. 🗂️ I organise my lessons around clear objectives, interactive activities, and real-life communication skills. Whether you want to improve grammar, pronunciation, writing, or fluency, I tailor every lesson to suit your personal goals—and we always learn at your pace. I know learning a new language can feel challenging, but you’ll find I’m patient, friendly, and encouraging. My classroom is a safe space where mistakes are part of the journey and every step forward is celebrated. Let’s work together to unlock your full potential in English. I’m excited to meet you and support you every step of the way!
