About me

Physics Boffin with 30+Years Experience: Prep for Uni with a Mass Spectrometer Expert

Hello! I'm Patrick Tarpey, a dedicated physics boffin with over 30 years of experience, and I'm passionate about helping students excel in physics. 🎓 I hold a degree in Physical Sciences from North Staffordshire Polytechnic and a B.Ed in Maths and Physics from Manchester Metropolitan University. My inspiration to teach physics came from the legendary Richard Feynman, whose captivating communication of his love and understanding of physics inspired me through his TV appearances and books. This passion drives me to make physics accessible and exciting for my students. 🚀✨ I specialise in preparing students for university success by tailoring each class to their unique needs. My approach is friendly and engaging, focusing on practical understanding and personal growth. I believe in empowering individuals to create a positive impact, and I bring this ethos into my teaching. 💡🌟 Whether you're tackling complex concepts or gearing up for exams, I'm here to guide you with enthusiasm and expertise. Let's ignite your passion for physics and achieve your academic goals together! 🔥📚
