About me

Biomedical Engineering graduate offering clear and personalized lessons

Hi, I’m Paola Dessì! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, where I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics. I graduated from a Scientific High School – Applied Sciences programme with the highest possible grade, 100/100 with honours. Throughout my studies, I obtained B2 and C1 English language certifications as well as certifications in French. I also took part in several academic competitions, ranking first at the regional level and sixth nationally in the Natural Sciences Olympiad – Biology section, as well as achieving first place nationally in the Raffaello Olympiad. My university studies have allowed me to develop a strong background in subjects such as mathematics, physics, biology, biochemistry and engineering, while also gaining hands-on experience through research and laboratory activities. During my lessons, I aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment. I like to actively involve students and adapt explanations, exercises and learning materials to their individual needs and learning style. My goal is not simply to help students solve an exercise, but to make sure they understand the reasoning behind it, so that they can become more confident and independent in their studies.
