About me

Hi, I'm, Lara! I have a degree in Technical-Scientific and Literary Translation (English-Spanish). In addition to English, I am passionate about Portuguese and the arts (music, painting, literature). I have experience teaching both online and in-person classes. My lessons are tailored to each student. I believe it is essential for teachers to clearly understand their students’ goals in order to design effective and engaging classes, using all available tools. I prioritize enjoyment as part of the learning process, as I believe this leads to better results. So, if you enjoy music, let’s learn through music! Once basic knowledge is acquired, I always recommend incorporating English into everyday activities, such as watching movies or series, listening to music, and more—both inside and outside the classroom. This is the fastest and most enjoyable way to truly absorb the language. If you’re interested, I’ll send you a form to learn more about your expectations.
