About me

Certified STEM & Physics/Maths Specialist | Exam Mastery & Problem-Solving Simplified

Are you struggling to wrap your head around complex Physics equations, calculus, or foundational high school Maths? Do you want to build strong problem-solving confidence and score top marks in your exams? I am Desmond Ihuoma (Sir Newton), a licensed Secondary STEM Educator and Engineer with over 20 years of experience helping students break down difficult concepts into simple, intuitive, step-by-step solutions. Whether you are preparing for IGCSE, GCSE, A-Levels, AP exams, standard secondary curriculum (Years 7–12), or introductory university engineering modules, I design every session around your specific goals and learning pace. --- ### What You Can Expect From Our Lessons: * **Scaffolded Problem-Solving:** We do not rely on memorizing formulas. I use worked-example models and real-world engineering applications so you genuinely understand the "why" and "how" behind every concept. * **Interactive Classgap Virtual Whiteboard:** Every session is hands-on. We write out formulas, dissect diagrams, and solve past paper questions together in real time. * **Custom Diagnostic Assessment:** In our very first session, we identify your exact conceptual gaps and build a targeted roadmap to fix them. * **Continuous Feedback & Strategy:** You receive actionable notes, practice problem sets, and targeted exam tips after every class. --- ### Academic Qualifications & Credentials: * **B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering** – University of Lagos * **Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration & Planning** – National Open University of Nigeria * **Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)** – National Open University of Nigeria * **M.Sc. in Project Management** – University of Lagos * **TRCN Certified & Licensed Teacher** (Registered Secondary Educator) * Aligned with international teaching benchmarks. --- ### Subjects & Levels Taught: * **Mathematics:** Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Linear Algebra, and General Secondary Maths (Years 7–12). * **Physics:** Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Circuit Theory, Waves, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics. * **Digital Technologies & Applied STEM:** Foundations of engineering logic, data analytics, and technical reasoning. --- Ready to turn your academic frustration into top-tier results? **Book a FREE 20-Minute Trial Lesson today**, and let's build your personalized study plan!
