Spanish teacher and DELE examiner, to learn or to improve the language.

Hi! I’m a native Spanish teacher and DELE examiner with more than 15 years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels. I have a degree in Foreign Language Teaching from Toledo, Spain, and I lived in England for 7 years. During my time there, I taught both English and Spanish in a school and through private lessons. This experience allowed me to work with students from different backgrounds, nationalities and learning needs. My lessons are designed for students who want to learn Spanish from scratch, improve their level, become more fluent and confident when speaking, or prepare for an official DELE exam. As a DELE examiner, I have first-hand knowledge of what is assessed in the exam and can help you prepare in a structured and practical way. We can work on all four language skills — listening, reading, writing and speaking — or focus specifically on the areas you would like to improve. In our first lesson, I’ll assess your current level and take the time to understand your goals, interests and learning needs. I’ll then tailor each lesson to you, using topics and activities that are relevant to your interests and make learning Spanish practical and enjoyable. I believe lessons should be dynamic and give you the opportunity to use Spanish from the very beginning. Alongside grammar and vocabulary, we’ll place a strong focus on conversation and the Spanish you’ll actually use in real-life situations. After each lesson, you’ll receive activities and resources to practise and consolidate what you have learned, always adapted to your level and objectives. I’m a friendly, reliable, flexible and dedicated teacher. I love meeting people from different cultures and helping each student progress and feel more confident using Spanish.
